Jennifer Scaife, the realtor who sold 157 Coxwell Avenue, received this request in her email yesterday and copied me on it.
I will, of course, not interfere with the desire and response by its present owner.
It is nice to still receive indications of interest. The last HGTV (Home and Garden Television) interview I did was program called – “LOOK WHAT I DID!” (2007 or 2008) The program was similarly themed, that is to say looking at homes designers, lay people, architects and engineers built for themselves.
Anyway, I’ve got nothing that warrants deep intellectual reflection on the matter at this point but I am glad the house derived from a the concept of simple dignity, experience, imagination and restraint can still garner such attention. – THE EMAIL FOLLOWS – cheers.

Dear Ms Scaife,
I am emailing you from a television production company called Pioneer Productions, based in London, UK. We are working on the new series of Extreme Homes for HGTV. Extreme homes is an architectural type series which showcases unusual, fascinating, fantastically beautiful, extremely big or tiny or unique houses. We usually also interview the homeowner and/or architect about the design and other interesting features.
I’m currently house-hunting for possible homes in Canada to film and during my research I came across the ‘lego house’ on Coxwell Avenue, which looks amazing! I believe that you were the realtor to have sold the house and I was therefore wondering if you could possibly help me to get in touch with the current owners. I would love to have a chat with them about the possibility of filming the house for the documentary.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Best wishes,
Carolyn Wells
